I had to test another lens on the Edixa and I assumed the auto aperature mode wouldn't work but... uhhh IT DID! Which is so sick because this new Super-Takumar lens can get as big as 1.8 so the waist level viewfinder is always super bright

Some pictures I feel a bit iffy posting but ultimately decided to go ahead. An apartment building near my house was burning for a day and a half and because of the constant and incredible work of our fire department, no other buildings were damaged, no one was injured and even the trees outside the building were barely affected. I'm making a donation to the effected families and would post it here for everyone else to give but its only for Canadians and the less information about where I live on the internet, the better for me

Wirgin Edixa - MAT Reflex Mod. D-L

That's right I'm going to write out the entire model name for my new camera because it's maybe the most beautiful object I own (google it). Picked up one in incredible condition from some European kid (he was probably like 21 or something but I'm old. No excuse for the European part though) and have been in camera freak heaven ever since. Genuinely one of my dream cameras I never thought I could get. It is so meticulous and specific with its entirely manual use that I tend to really take my time and enjoy taking the pictures. Plus the gorgeous waist level viewfinder is so much fun.

I was feeling a little crestfallen the last month due to my other camera not advancing the film properly so 2 full rolls didn't actually take any pictures. When I rolled the film back up it just sucked in nothing. Both were from times where I lost some pictures of memories I really cherished so I felt a bit discouraged. I think I'm back now and hopefully I can avoid that again in the future

 Nikon FG

Went to a new shop to get these developed and they came back super small so any cropping I do is like... painful to me. The quality is also just not great I dunno. Might have to ask them if there's a "good" option I can buy

Praktica MTL3

Got multiple rolls back today and yeah that new Nikon FG may be my new favourite camera. I feel like if you ever want to get the hang of a new lens/camera, shooting a graveyard ain't a bad place to put in some practice. This one had a huge St. Peter (?) in it and I loved it. More graveyards need a big statue in em.
Also put a black and white roll in the old Praktica tank but somehow botched the focus on most pictures. It was worth it thought for my favourite pic of Toby I've ever taken

  Nikon FG

Kinda fleeced a guy at a garage sale for his Nikon FG that was totally broken until I paid him $100 for the camera and lens and fixed it on my walk home. Finally got a roll in it and left the house and discovered I love this camera. Someone online tried to say the louder chunky shutter noise was bad and that persons a fool. It sounds like racking a shotgun. It's incredible.

Minolta Hi-Matic AF2

I finally found a Minolta AF2 that didn't have the motor drive and after some fixes it works like a dream. Went out for the day on a jetty that takes 2 hours to walk to the end and back and wanted to see how the camera did for close and far focus. Not bad. Sometimes shooting on film feels like cheating.

Olympus SuperTrip

I bought a little plastic point and shoot camera the Olympus SuperTrip (google it. It's cute) and I named him Lil' Stinky. These are Lil' Stinky's first pictures under my care and I think he did a great job. Congrats Lil' Stinky
